This section is devoted to tricks, psychology, pranks, sales and more.
I've had lots of feedback about psychology lately so I think I'll share another body language tip. Most of us have heard opinions about what eye dilation means. "Love," "Fear" and "Lying." Well, it is even more simple than that in a sense. It is all about the "shift" and what the circumstances are. In general, use this rule: If eye dilation constricts, it means stress and distaste in something. If eyes dilate, it means contentment or a positive emotion.
The real trick is recognizing what took place at the moment you noticed a change in eyes. Were you trying to lie, sell something, flirt...? It is not often about them, but rather your actions that needs to be considered. So, sorry guys... Just because eyes might dilate, it does not mean she has fallen for you. She might have relaxed or something you said might have reminded her of something someone she really loves said!

Last months trivia question asked what's the opposite of "pick-pocket?"
It might have been an intuitive answer, but let me explain it more. It is called "put-pocket" and is just as useful in magic as taking something! Obviously, "pick-pocketing" is commonly known as an advanced skill to take watches, wallets and items from someone. "Put-pocketing" is a way of cleverly sneaking items into someone pocket for various reasons. A magician might stick your chosen card into a pocket during a card trick. I might slip in predictions or funny gags to make fun of someone or myself. My favorite item to slip into a pocket is something from someone else! It's a fun skill to have and used appropriately, it is harmless. People often ask me,"If you can pick-pocket, why don't you go out and make millions by taking things..." Well, that is a moral problem. I guess with "put-pocketing", one could say,"Why don't you plant evidence on people!"- I'd rather use my powers for good!

Here's a trick to get guests mingling, socializing and having fun!
Offer others areas to sit or mingle besides the large tables designed for the sit down dinner. If guests feel stuck in their place, they won't feel comfortable mingling. Nobody like to have to "hover" over someone's shoulder to have a conversation. If you offer additional cocktail tables or seating outside the main dinning area, it will promote socializing and fun! It also lends itself well to me interacting with guests and blowing their minds!
Here's something amazingly appropriate for the subject... I connected with an old buddy (due to my 20th anniversary from high school this week) and he's got something that should interest you event folks! Check out Instant Lounge
