Last months trivia question asked how long it would take to memorize a shuffled deck of cards.

Tom Groves Memorized the order of single deck of cards in 42.01 seconds, Jesus College, Cambridge, England, On November 3rd, 1994.

Now, get out a deck of cards, shuffle them and then simply say each cards name. "Ace of Diamonds, Four of Hearts, Six of Spades", etc. It will take you about a minute and that is without remembering the entire order. I use a mnemonic device (memory system) and it takes a while!
