Lotto! For those who watched NBC/KSBY last night, you know my wife and I won the California Lotto! I'm so happy to have been handed a check for 6.6 million dollars. Being that today is April Fool's Day, I thought I'd share a funny prank you can do to the kids- Slthough, I'd only do this outside!
Last months trivia question asked if hypnosis is real.
I do get asked this question regularly at shows. I often ask if they have seen a hypnosis show. They often answer, "Yes." I then beg the question, "Do you think the hypnotist travels with those 20 people on the road? ...including your cousin that was in the show?" Hypnosis is very real but there are a lot of misconceptions about it. Interestingly, it is as real as you want to make it. Can you be forced to do something against your will? Not too likely. Can you be put into a state that can enable you to see things that do not exist? Easily. Can you be placed into a state which allows you to display skills or abilities you didn't think you had? I recently went out to the public theater. What stood out most was the sound of people opening and playing with food wrappers. "Hey, if you open it slowly, you just make noise longer!" When is someone going to create a paper that doesn't make so much noise?!... and when are people going to remember to open their food BEFORE the movie starts?
